This is the second century in the IPL career of left-handed explosive opener Vaibhav. Earlier, in his debut season, he had scored a century in 35 balls against Gujarat Titans. Vaibhav has become the first batsman to score two centuries in IPL at the age of 15. Bihar’s Vaibhav became the first uncapped batsman to score two centuries in IPL.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player to debut in IPL history. He made his debut in the year 2025 at the age of only 14. He came to the auction at the age of 13. He has made a world record for scoring the fastest 500 runs (in just 227 balls) in IPL history. Vaibhav defeated legends like Glenn Maxwell (260 balls) and Virender Sehwag (280 balls). In IPL 2026, he made the record of scoring the joint third fastest half-century in this league by scoring a half-century in just 15 balls. He is the youngest player to hit a six on the first ball of his first IPL match.
