SSC Recruitment 2026: Recruitment for Hindi translator posts in SSC starts, know who can apply?

SSC Recruitment 2026: Staff Selection Commission has issued notification for Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2026 for the youth preparing for government jobs. Through this recruitment, appointments will be made to posts related to Hindi translator in different ministries and departments of the Central Government. The special thing is that this time recruitment will be done on a total of 84 possible posts. Due to which this is being considered a good opportunity for the candidates who have good command over both Hindi and English languages. According to the Commission, the application process for this examination has started from 3 April 2026, interested candidates can apply online till 14 May 2026. The last date for depositing the application fees has been fixed as May 15. If there is any mistake in the application form, the candidate will be given a chance to make corrections on May 19-20. The examination will be conducted during August and September 2026.

On which posts will there be recruitment?

Under this recruitment, there will be appointments on posts like Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator. These posts will be filled in the Central Secretariat, Armed Forces Headquarters and other ministries and departments.

Who can apply for these posts?

Candidates applying for these posts must have post graduation degree in Hindi-English from a recognized university. Also the second language should be included as a subject at the degree level. Apart from this, the candidate must have a diploma or certificate in Hindi to English and English to Hindi translation or at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

Age limit and application fee for recruitment

The age of the candidates for this recruitment has been fixed between 18 to 30 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2026. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules. The application fee has been kept at Rs 100.
