CBSE Exam 2026: Many students will give CBSE 10th exam again, will write papers to improve performance.

CBSE 10th Exam: BSE Board had recently released the results of class 10th. The special thing this time is that the board has given another chance to class 10th students to improve their performance. For the first time, the board has given the facility to the students to appear for the second examination in the same year and the students have embraced this opportunity with full enthusiasm.

According to the board, about 6.69 lakh students have registered for the second examination to be held in May. This number is about 27 percent of the students who appeared in the main examination held in February-March. That means one out of every four students is now going to take the exam again, so that he can improve his marks.

This time students were given the freedom to choose maximum three subjects from Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Language subjects. According to the data, about 1.93 lakh students have filled the form for improvement exam in one subject, 2.79 lakh students in two subjects and 1.97 lakh students have filled the form for improvement exam in three subjects. This shows that instead of being satisfied with their results, students are trying to improve themselves.

When will the exam be held?

The second examination will be conducted between May 15 and May 21. According to board officials, this time the number of examination centers will be kept less than the main examination. The special thing is that for the students who are appearing for the exam again, only the better marks of both the exams will be considered as final.

This step of CBSE has been taken as per the new education policy 2020. In this policy, emphasis has been laid on reducing the pressure of board examinations and giving students a chance to improve. Earlier, once the paper was spoiled, students had to wait for the whole year, but now they are getting a second chance in the same year.
