Students of 11th and 12th will get more benefits

PM Yashasvi Yojana is not limited to school students only. Under this, a special program Top Class College Education is also run. Under this scheme, living expenses of up to Rs 3,000 per month are given to eligible students studying in colleges and universities. Apart from this, additional assistance of Rs 5,000 is also available annually for books and stationery.
What are the necessary conditions to apply?
To avail the benefits of this scheme, some important conditions have to be fulfilled. First of all, the student should belong to OBC, EBC or DNT category. Apart from this, the total annual income of the student’s parents or guardian should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. Also, the student should be studying regularly from class 9th to 12th in a recognized government or private school. Students fulfilling these conditions can apply.
