The heat reached the limits of the human body!” Former WHO scientist’s warning – heatwave can now become fatal

Due to the increasing heat in the country, warnings are now being given not only about the weather but also about the danger to life. Former WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan has clearly said through a video that the temperature in India has now reached very close to the limit of tolerance of the human body. This means that the situation is becoming such where even a little carelessness can prove fatal. He says that heatwave is no longer just a heat wave but is becoming a major health emergency, for which immediate action needs to be taken on a large scale.

Heatwave becomes a big threat in India

Dr. Soumya Swaminathan said that a large part of India is currently in danger of heatwave. The temperature is becoming so high that it is becoming difficult for the body to bear it, due to which the risk of diseases and death can increase.

Not just the hospital, the entire system has to be ready

Dr. Swaminathan also said that merely preparing hospitals is not enough to deal with this problem. Many departments of the government will have to work together. He suggested that a “Heat Commission” be formed in India, which would prepare necessary plans to save people.
