Chasing the target, Gujarat Titans could reach only 218 runs after losing four wickets. Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan and Jos Buttler tried their best to lead the team to victory, but failed. This victory of KKR has kept it in the race for the playoffs. It has 11 points in 12 matches and the team has moved up one place to seventh position. On the other hand, Gujarat had a chance to get a direct playoff ticket, which it lost. However, the defeat did not make any difference to his standing. The team is still in second place. He has 16 points in 13 matches. Now Gujarat’s eyes will be on securing the ticket to the top-4 by winning its last league match. KKR will try to win its remaining two matches.
