This company made houses that rise in the air
A company named Air Danshin Systems Inc has created a new technology, which lifts the house into the air during an earthquake. This may sound like a story from a science fiction film, but it is happening in reality. In this technology the house is built on a special air chamber system. As soon as the seismic sensors installed inside it detect movement, compressed air is filled in the chamber and the house rises by about 3 centimeters, due to which earthquake tremors do not affect it. As soon as the earthquake shocks subside, this system brings the house back to its place.
Technology has started being used
This system of Air Danshin is not limited to papers only. It is being used in about 90 houses and buildings in Japan. It gets activated in less than a second after earthquake waves are felt. It is equipped with emergency battery pack, with the help of which it can work even during power outage. There is no need to spend much money for this. The company has prepared its version for homes as well as big laboratories and factories.
