The country’s four big companies Nothing, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Realme have immediately increased the prices of many of their popular phones. This information came to light through tipster Abhishek Yadav, after which after checking the prices on different platforms, it was found that the new prices have now been implemented on the official websites. Although no official statement has yet come from the companies on this increase, its impact is clearly visible in the market.
Nothing phones became the most expensive
Nothing has made a major change in the prices of some of its major smartphones. The starting price of Phone (3a) Lite is now higher than before. Similarly, Phone (4a) and its Pro version are also now available at higher prices. The special thing is that the maximum increase has been seen in the Pro model, due to which it has come closer to the premium category.
OnePlus 15 series prices jump
OnePlus has also increased the prices of its new flagship devices OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. Both the variants of OnePlus 15 have now become costlier by several thousand rupees. There has also been a direct increase in the price of OnePlus 15R, making it more expensive in the mid-premium segment.
Realme made several phones expensive at once
Realme has increased the prices of not one or two but six smartphones. Almost equal increase has been made on every storage variant. The phones whose prices have increased include models ranging from C series to Pro series. Now their starting prices have become higher than before, which will have a direct impact on budget and mid-range users.
Xiaomi also increased the price of Redmi Note series
Xiaomi has also updated the prices of its popular Redmi Note 15 Pro series phones. The new prices are now visible on the company’s website, making it clear that the increase has been implemented. Some high-end variants have seen a steep rise in prices.
Why are prices increasing?
The biggest reason behind this sudden increase is believed to be rising costs. According to reports, the prices of essential components like memory and chipset are increasing rapidly. For this reason companies have to increase the prices of their products. Interestingly, Carl Pei had already indicated this situation. He had told that in 2026, companies will have only two options left, either increase prices or reduce features. He said that the earlier “model with more features at a lower price has now become difficult to survive for a long time.
