Egg Malai Makhani Recipe: Nowadays everyone is trying to increase protein in their diet, and information related to this is being seen everywhere on social media. Recently, famous chef and MasterChef India judge Ranveer Brar has also shared a recipe keeping this trend in mind, in which along with taste, protein has also been taken care of. He shared the recipe of Anda Malai Makhani on his YouTube channel, which takes about 35 minutes to make.

Know what is needed to make the recipe

To make this recipe, following ingredients are required:

To make gravy:

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Boiled Magaj Seeds and Cashews
  • 2 bay leaves
  • half inch cinnamon
  • 2 cups curd (whipped)
  • 1 green chilli
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 2 cups hot water

to boil:

  • water as per need
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp magaz seeds
  • 7-8 cashews

To roast vegetables:

  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 2-3 dried Kashmiri red chillies
  • 1 medium tomato (chopped)
  • 1 medium capsicum (chopped)
  • 2 medium onions (chopped)
  • salt as per taste

For spices:

  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 2-4 cloves
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp kasuri methi

For Egg Malai Makhani:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 8-9 boiled eggs
  • water as per need
  • ready gravy
  • salt as per taste
  • 1-2 tbsp butter
  • roasted vegetables

For garnish:

  • prepared masala
  • fresh cream
  • chili oil
  • green coriander

How to make this tasty and healthy dish

First of all, to make gravy, heat ghee in a pot, add onion and fry for two minutes. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. After this, add boiled magaj seeds, cashew nuts, bay leaves, cinnamon and curd and cook for seven to eight minutes, until the oil starts separating from the spices. Now add green chillies and water and boil, then add hot water, cover and cook for seven to eight minutes more.

On the other hand, add water, salt, magaj seeds and cashew nuts in a pan, boil for two to three minutes and filter. Now heat ghee in a pan, add dry red chilli, tomato, capsicum, onion and salt and fry on high flame for two to three minutes. After this, for spices, add black pepper, cumin, coriander seeds, cloves and salt in a pan and fry it, then add Kasuri fenugreek and fry for a minute and grind it to make a fine powder. Now for the last step, heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and boiled eggs and cook for a minute. Finally, take it out in a serving dish and garnish with prepared masala, fresh cream, chili oil and green coriander, and serve with hot roti or naan.
