Whether the preparation is complete or incomplete, as soon as the admit card is in hand, it seems as if the exam date is standing in front of you. CBSE has now released the admit cards for the second phase examination of class 10. Schools across the country are downloading hall tickets from the official portal and delivering them to the students. Whereas private candidates can also check their admit card online with the help of their application number or old roll number.
This second phase examination of CBSE will be held from 15 May to 21 May 2026. The examination will be held in a single shift at all the examination centres. In such a situation, it is important for the students to receive their admit card on time and check all the information entered in it carefully.
Admit card distribution started in schools
As soon as the admit card is released, many schools have started calling students and giving them hall tickets. The seriousness of the examination is now clearly visible on the faces of the children studying in the classroom. Teachers are also explaining important instructions to the students along with the admit card – when to reach, what to carry and what not. This facility has been kept online for private candidates. They can download the admit card sitting at home with the help of their application number or previous roll number.

After receiving the admit card, students must first check their name, roll number, subject, examination center and photo. If you find any kind of mistake, immediately inform the school administration, so that rectification can be done in time. It is often seen that even a small mistake becomes a problem on the day of examination. Therefore, CBSE has clearly said that the information in the admit card should be matched carefully.
Exam date and shift
CBSE Class 10 second phase exam will be held from May 15 to May 21, 2026. The examination will be conducted in a single shift. Students have been advised to reach the examination center on time, so that the admission process can be completed smoothly.

Along with the admit card, students will also have to carry a valid identity card. It is prohibited to carry mobile phones, smart watches or any kind of electronic item to the examination centre. Carry only pen, pencil, admit card and necessary stationery.
Schools are downloading from these websites
CBSE has issued clear instructions for schools to download the admit card only from the official website. For this the school administration will have to go to cbse.gov.in or parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
Click on “Pariksha Sangam” link on the website and select “Schools (Ganga)” option. After this, go to the “Pre-Examination Activities” section and click on “CBSE 2026 Admit Card”. Admit cards of all students can be downloaded as soon as the login details are filled.
