If you are dreaming of making a career in the banking sector, then this is a great opportunity for you. Union Bank of India has released the recruitment notification for 1865 apprentice posts. In this recruitment, candidates will get the experience of working in the bank.
Under this recruitment, a total of 1865 posts will be filled in the entire country. These posts have been divided in different states, in which more posts have been given in big states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, while less posts have been given in smaller states and union territories.
Talking about state wise posts, maximum 335 posts have been kept in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, 196 posts have been given in Maharashtra, 164 in Telangana, 131 in Karnataka, 116 in Madhya Pradesh and 95 in Tamil Nadu. A good number of posts are also available in states like Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Odisha and West Bengal.
Ability
To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university. Also, the candidate’s degree should be after April 1, 2022. Apart from this, it is also important to have knowledge of the local language of the state from where you are applying.
age limit
To apply, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age at 28 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
application fee
The application fee for this recruitment has been kept separate for different categories. Male candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 944, while for female candidates of General and OBC category, it has been fixed at Rs 708. Whereas for SC, ST and Disabled category candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 236.
selection process
The selection process in this recruitment will be completed in three phases. First of all, candidates will have to take an online examination, in which their knowledge and ability will be assessed. After this, a local language test will be taken to ensure that the candidate understands the language of that area. Ultimately the final selection will be made on the basis of medical test.

How much stipend will I get?
Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will be given stipend every month during 1 year apprenticeship. Stipend will be Rs 15,000 in rural areas, Rs 18,000 in urban areas and Rs 20,000 in metro cities.
