Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board has released the official notification for recruitment to the post of Hospital Assistant. 1200 posts will be filled in this recruitment related to health department. The special thing is that the minimum qualification for this recruitment has been kept at 10th pass.
The process of online application will start from 07 May 2026. Interested candidates will be able to apply till 21 May 2026. If any mistake is made while applying, time is also given to correct it. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their form from 07 May to 26 May 2026.
This recruitment is special for those youth who have been preparing for government jobs for a long time and wish to work in the health department. The work of a hospital assistant is related to managing the hospital system, assisting patients and working closely with the staff.
Registration Fee
To apply for the posts of Hospital Assistant, candidates of all categories will have to pay registration fees. The fee for unreserved category has been fixed at Rs 500, while for reserved category candidates this fee has been fixed at Rs 250.
when will the exam be held
The examination for this recruitment will be held on 24 June 2026. The examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will run from 10 am to 12 noon. The second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm.
A total of 100 questions of 100 marks will be asked in the exam. Questions will be from subjects like General Hindi, General English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. That is, the level of the exam has been kept such that 10th pass students can easily understand it.
Who can apply
To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years. The maximum age limit has been kept at 40 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Talking about educational qualification, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board. Along with this, other eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification will also have to be fulfilled.

How much salary will you get?
Candidates selected for the post of Hospital Assistant will get a salary ranging from Rs 15,500 to Rs 49,000 per month. Being a government job, other allowances and facilities will also be available with it.
