Playing Test cricket is a very difficult task, playing for 5 days continuously makes any player tired. There are many players in the world who have played 100 Test matches continuously. The name of former Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar is also included in this list.

Alastair Cook holds the record for playing most consecutive Test matches.

There are many cricketers in the world who have played 150 test matches without being dropped from the team.
Alastair Cook (England) – 159 Tests from May 2006 to September 2018
Former England captain Alastair Cook played 159 consecutive Tests out of 161 in his career between 11 May 2006 and 7 September 2018. Cook retired from cricket in 2018 at the age of 33. He is the youngest English player to complete 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 runs and is also the youngest player to reach the figure of 1000 runs each from 6000 to 12,000 runs. He is the first opener to cross the mark of 11,000 and 12,000 runs in Test cricket. By scoring 147 runs in the last match of his illustrious career, Cook also became the fifth batsman to score a century in the first and last Test.
Allan Border (Australia) – 153 Tests from March 1979 to March 1994
Australian cricket legend Allan Border is remembered as a strong captain. Left-handed batsman Border scored more than 11 thousand runs in Tests. He played 153 consecutive tests out of 156 in his career. This record remained in his name for a long time which was later broken by Cook. At the time of his retirement in 1994, Border held the records of most Tests, most consecutive Tests, most Tests as captain and most catches.
Mark Waugh (Australia) – 107 Tests from June 1993 to October 2002
When Allan Border was in the final stages of his career, Australia had another reliable player in Mark Waugh. All-rounder Mark Waugh played 107 consecutive Tests for Australia between 3 June 1993 and 19 October 2002. Waugh took 8029 runs and 59 wickets in 128 test matches.

Sunil Gavaskar (India) – 106 Tests from January 1975 to February 1987
Sunil Gavaskar, one of the great opening batsmen, dominated the bowlers in the 70s and 80s. Gave a new definition to Test batting in that era. Gavaskar played a total of 125 tests in his career. Of these, 106 were played continuously. Which is just one less than Mark Waugh's 107 tests. He became the first cricketer to complete 10,000 test runs. He scored 10,122 runs, the average was 51.12. He was the first player to score 30 Test centuries and had the record of 34 Test centuries in his name.
Brendon McCullum (New Zealand) – 101 Tests from March 2004 to February 2016
The fifth name in this list is that of New Zealand's charismatic cricketer Brendon McCullum. He played all 101 tests continuously in his career. Aggressive batsman and former captain McCullum scored 6453 test runs. In his 14-year career, he scored 2 Test centuries and 31 half-centuries. He also holds the record for scoring the fastest century in Test cricket, when he scored a century in just 54 balls against Australia in the 2015-16 season.
