New Delhi: Gujarat Titans captain Shubhman Gill has been fined Rs 12 lakh for keeping a slow over rate during the match against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. IPL’s media advisory said that Gill has been fined for slow over rate in the match held at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The advisory read, ‘Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill has been fined by his team for keeping a slow over rate at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match No. 14 of IPL 2026. This was his team’s first offense of the season, which falls under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which includes the minimum over rate offence, hence Gill was fined Rs 12 lakh.
