Famous Bollywood director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is once again in the news for his dream project ‘Karna’. Earlier, South actor Surya was going to debut in Bollywood with this film, but due to lack of budget, it was stopped at the pre-production stage. Now a big update has come out regarding the mythological drama film ‘Karna’ which was shelved years ago. Discussions about resuming work on this long-closed film have intensified.
Salman Khan’s entry in the film
According to a report in 123 Telugu, ‘Rang De Basanti’ director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is once again preparing to start work on the film ‘Karna’. The interesting thing is that now the hero of this film will not be Surya but Salman Khan. The makers are now going to start this period drama film with Bollywood’s Bhaijaan. The producer of this film is Farhan Akhtar. He will produce this film under the banner of his production company Excel Entertainment. However, no official announcement has been made yet.

Salman Khan shook hands with Farhan Akhtar for the first time
Earlier the news had come that Salman Khan has joined hands with Farhan Akhtar for the first time. Talks are going on between the two regarding a grand ‘period drama’ film. According to Pinkvilla’s report, Salman and Farhan are continuously meeting and are excited to work together on this project. This film of Salman and Farhan will be released in two parts and its shooting may start in the summer of 2027.
