Ryan Rickelton Hundred: Ryan Rickelton has made the record of the fastest century for Mumbai Indians. While batting brilliantly against Sunrisers Hyderabad, this Mumbai opener batsman achieved this feat by completing his century in 44 balls. He broke the record of Sanath Jayasuriya and Tilak Verma, who jointly remained number-1 in this matter by scoring 100 in 45 balls.

New Delhi. While playing for the five-time champion Mumbai Indians, Ryan Rickelton has achieved the feat which batting greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma failed to achieve. This 29 year old batsman has become the batsman to score the fastest century for Mumbai Indians. Creating a stir with his stormy batting against Sunrisers Hyderabad, this South African cricketer took only 44 balls to reach his century. Earlier, the record of fastest century for Mumbai was jointly held by Nath Jayasuriya and Tilak Verma. Both of them achieved this feat in 45-45 balls.
Scored the fastest century for Mumbai
Tilak Verma had recently equaled Sanath Jayasuriya’s record by scoring a century in 45 balls. Jayasuriya had touched the figure of 100 in 45 balls wearing the Mumbai jersey in the very first season of IPL. However, now Richelton has become Mumbai’s fastest centurion, breaking his 18-year-old record. Cameron Green’s name is among the other batsmen who have scored the fastest century for the team. Green had scored a hundred in 47 balls against Hyderabad in 2023. Suryakumar Yadav also scored a century in 2023. He scored a century in 49 balls against Gujarat Titans. Surya is at fourth place in this matter.
