BCCI Seek Explanation From Riyan Parag Vaping: Amidst IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag seems to be badly entangled in the smoking issue. In a video that went viral on social media, Ryan was seen vaping inside the dressing room. Now the Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has sought his reply in this matter.

BCCI sought answers from Riyan Parag
It was told in a report of Indian Express that a reply has been sought from Ryan in this matter. The report quoted a BCCI official as saying, “We will seek a response from Ryan on this matter, as vaping is not allowed. Based on his response, the IPL will take further action.” Now it will be interesting to see what action is taken against Parag in this case.
What are the rules regarding vaping in India?
So let us tell you that e-cigarettes are banned in India since 2019. Under The Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019, possessing, selling and using e-cigarettes is completely banned in India.
If used for the first time, a punishment of one year and a fine of Rs 1 lakh can be imposed. And for repeated violation, there can be a jail term of three years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.

In the match played in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl. Punjab Kings, who came to bat first, scored 222 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.
