What happened to that ‘strange’ ball?
Avesh Khan bowled a short length ball well outside the off stump. Rahane swung the bat with full force to take advantage of the width of the ball. The shot was so powerful that Rahane completely lost control over the bat. On one hand, Rahane’s bat flew away in the direction of square leg, while on the other hand, the ball floated in the air and fell beyond the deep backward point boundary. The sight was amazing; the batsman’s hands were empty, the bat was somewhere else and the ball was outside the boundary line for six runs.
