This is a great opportunity for the youth who are preparing for government jobs. UPSC has released the recruitment notification. Under this recruitment, candidates will be selected for the posts of Scientist-B, Scientific Officer, Assistant Professor and other posts. A total of 5 posts will be appointed under this recruitment drive. These include 1 post of Scientist-B, 1 post of Scientific Officer, 2 posts of Archaeological Engineer and 1 post of Assistant Professor.
What qualification is required?
- For Scientist-B- If you have done M.Sc in Physics, then you should have at least 1 year of experience. If you have done BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering. So you must have 2 years of experience.
- For Scientific Officer- If you have done M.Sc in Physics, have done BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering. So you should have at least 1 year experience.
- For Superintending Archaeological Engineer- It is necessary to have BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 8 years of working experience.
- For Assistant Professor- Must have ME/M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
age limit
The maximum age of the candidates for this recruitment has been fixed at 40 years. However, reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC and others will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
This much application fee will have to be paid
To apply, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 25. Whereas the application for SC/ST, PWD and women candidates has been kept absolutely free.

What will be the salary?
Candidates selected on these posts will get salary as per 7th Pay Commission, in which the salary can be between Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,20,000 per month.

Candidates will be selected in this recruitment in two phases. CRT will be conducted first. This will be a written examination in which the eligibility of the candidates will be tested. After that a written examination will be conducted in which successful candidates will be called for interview. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of interview performance. Selected candidates will be appointed to the relevant post.
