Last Saturday, Vaibhav Suryavanshi captured the Orange Cap after his inning of 103 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. But in the next matches, the batsmen continued to overtake him. Before the match against Punjab Kings, Vaibhav had scored 357 runs in 8 innings. Since he scored 43 runs against Punjab, he has now completed a total of 400 runs in 9 innings.
At second place in the race for Orange Cap is Abhishek Sharma of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who currently has 380 runs. Delhi Capitals opener KL Rahul, who has scored 358 runs so far, is at third place and Virat Kohli is at fourth place, who currently has 351 runs.
