During the match played against Punjab Kings (PBKS), he was caught on camera using vape in the team dressing room. The video of this incident, which was recorded in the 16th over of the second innings, is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

New Delhi. Rajasthan Royals (RR) team is constantly surrounded by controversies in the Indian Premier League. First the coaching staff of the team used mobile phones during the match and now captain Riyan Parag has crossed the limit. During the match played against Punjab Kings (PBKS), he was caught on camera using vape in the team dressing room. The video of this incident, which was recorded in the 16th over of the second innings, is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
BCCI may take strict action on what happened during the match played on Tuesday (April 28) at New PCA Stadium, Mullanpur. Whatever Riyan Parag did is a violation of the rules in which there is a case of harming the reputation of the game under Law 2.2 of the Code of Conduct for IPL players and officials. The match referee can give an official warning, deduct some part of the player’s match fee or even impose suspension.
Rajasthan Royals are already under investigation
This incident has come to light after RR’s biggest win in IPL 2026. At the home of the league’s unbeaten team Punjab Kings, RR achieved the target of 223 runs in the last over and won by six wickets. Parag scored 29 runs in 16 balls. As RR moved to third place in the points table, they added another off-field controversy to their name.
