Dhawan reached Vikas Sadar Registrar office with his wife Sophie Shine and completed all the legal formalities. Dhawan and Sophie got married in a private ceremony on 21 February 2026, while the engagement took place on 12 January. Now legally, this famous couple has officially become husband and wife.

Gurugram. Former Indian cricket team opener Shikhar Dhawan has got his marriage registered in Gurugram. An officer gave this information. Dhawan came to the registrar office at Vikas Sadar with his wife Sophie Shine and signed the marriage documents. The officer said that his family members and a Pandit were also present there.
Shikhar Dhawan wore a dark blue T-shirt and Sophie Shine wore a light sky blue top. When his wife was signing the documents, a person from behind jokingly asked, ‘Is Pandit’s photo coming or not?’ After completion of the formalities, Marriage Registrar Superintendent Vasudev issued the marriage certificate.

An official of the Gurugram registrar office said, ‘Shikhar Dhawan reached the marriage registrar office with his wife Sophie at around 3 pm today. About seven family members and friends were with him. It took about 35 minutes to complete the formalities of the documents and they were issued a marriage certificate.
Dhawan married Sophie Shine of Ireland in a private ceremony in Delhi-NCR on 21 February 2026. Both of them got engaged on 12 January. Sophie Shine is a resident of Ireland. Who was born in Ireland in 1990. At present Sophie’s age is 35 years. Sophie has made a name for herself in the corporate world. According to media reports, after completing her schooling from Ireland, Sophie completed her studies from Limerick Institute of Technology and Castleroy College.
