Google Pixels Vs Samsung Galaxy: Both Samsung and Google use Android operating system in their flagship phones. Smartphones of both the companies compete with each other in many respects, but Samsung phones have many features which are missing from Google Pixel. Like Apple, Google has control over both the hardware and software of its Pixel phones, but this does not mean that Google will be ahead in every matter. These features of Samsung Galaxy phones are missing from Google Pixels
Samsung DeX- If you want to turn your smartphone into a computer, Samsung’s flagship devices can do something that Google Pixel can’t do. Since 2017, Samsung has been providing DeX feature for ‘desktop experience’ in its flagship mobiles. With its help, Samsung phones can work like computers.
Privacy Display- Samsung has included a privacy display for the first time in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, launched in February this year. Its advantage is that when it is turned on, the screen becomes dark for the people sitting around the user, due to which they will not be able to see what the user is doing on the phone. Till now no company including Google has been able to provide this feature, but many companies have started trying to copy it.
Dual Messenger- Dual Messenger feature is available in Samsung Galaxy devices, which allows to operate two different accounts in the same messaging app on the same device. It was introduced in 2017 and is now available on many Galaxy devices. Like other features, this is also missing from Google Pixel devices.
S Pen Stylus- Samsung has been offering S Pen stylus with its Galaxy S Ultra device for a long time. It was first introduced with the Galaxy Note and also started with smartphones starting with the S22 Ultra. No stylus comes with Google Pixel devices till date.
Edge Panel- Samsung Galaxy devices come with the Edge Panel, which is a swipe-in-sidebar for apps, shortcuts, and contacts. No matter what app you are using, it can be swiped from the side. On the other hand, there is no such feature in Google Pixel devices.
