Airpods With Camera: In 2027, the journey of iPhone will complete 20 years. To make this occasion special, Apple is making elaborate preparations. Information is being received that Apple will launch AirPods with camera in September next year. These AirPods will be launched in the market with the most unique looking iPhone 20 and second generation foldable iPhone. The new AirPods are going to be the company’s first device based on AI and with the help of this Apple wants to strengthen its place in the AI device market.
How will AirPods with cameras work?
Bloomberg report states that a camera will be installed in the stem of the AirPods. This camera will collect visual information around the user and tell it to Siri. Then when the user asks Siri a question, he will be able to answer it with context. In this, the user will be able to get accurate navigation guide and detailed information about the things around him. Apple is already providing this kind of concept in its Visual Intelligence feature. In this, users can upload any image and collect information about it. Now work is going on to integrate this capability into AirPods.
Testing is being done with iOS 28
According to the report, Apple is testing AirPods with camera with iOS 28 update. Even though Apple has not yet released the iOS 27 update to the public, work is also going on internally on the iOS 28 update. It is being told that the company is developing upcoming AI devices simultaneously. Their launching can be postponed a little.
Why was the launch postponed?
Earlier reports had claimed that Apple may launch AirPods with camera this year, but now its launch has been postponed. Considering the challenges coming with AI features and the time required to improve the detection system of visual intelligence, preparations are now underway to launch it after a year. Along with AirPods, Apple is also working on its first smart glasses. There are speculations of launching these also by September 2027. If both are launched together, they can help Apple in creating an ecosystem of AI powered wearable devices.
