Kunal Khemu has been very busy for some time now. He has many projects and is also hosting the reality show ‘The Alliance’. Amidst all this, in a recent conversation, Kunal Khemu talked about the period when he was unemployed for six months to a year and sat at home. He revealed that at that time people had advised him to send gifts, attend parties and be more active in social circles to get projects.
Kunal Khemu had received strange advice
Speaking to News 18, Kunal Khemu said, “It’s the same thing with advice. If it works for you, it’s good, and if it doesn’t, it’s bad. The advice I got was not actually bad, but it didn’t work for me. I was told that I should have a PR and PR machinery because it is very important. I was also told to go to different places, be among people, host them and send them gifts. But I don’t think it’s all bad advice.”

‘Kunal Khemu was unemployed for a year.
Talking about the phase of not getting work in his acting career, Kunal Khemu further said, “Now I am busier, but there have been times in my life when I have worked for two years continuously without taking a day off. And then, no film took off and I stayed at home for six-eight months or a year. I know that phase can come again. When you don’t have work, you are also nervous and wonder whether I will get work again. This is the unpredictable nature of this business that all actors go through, from big stars to newcomers.

Kunal was last seen directing ‘Madgaon Express’. Now he will be seen in ‘Golmaal 5’. Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and other actors are also included in this film.
