Samsung Intelligent Eyewear: Samsung has introduced its new smart glasses at the Galaxy Unpacked event. These glasses have been developed in collaboration with global eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. These glasses, which are operated by hand gestures, have been designed according to daily routine, work and travel. These glasses have been built on Google’s Android XR platform and Gemini AI has been integrated in them, which will provide assistance by understanding the surrounding environment through voice, gesture and visual input.
These are the main features of Samsung Intelligent Eyewear
In Samsung’s intelligent eyeglasses, you will get AI capabilities along with conventional design. They have a built-in camera, through which Gemini AI will be able to understand what the user is seeing. Based on this, the AI assistant will be able to give him real time information. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor, which has been specially optimized for AR devices. The company claims that once charged, its battery will last for 9 hours and its charging case can also provide power for 7 hours.
Smart glasses will work with gestures
You do not need to use hands to operate these glasses. These can be used through voice command and gesture control. Apart from summarizing long messages, these glasses will be able to read notifications out loud, translate conversations in real time and also help users navigate without a phone. Talking about other features, it can capture white board and meeting notes etc. and save them in Samsung Notes. Apart from this, during video call, the user also gets the option to share his point of view and record hands-free video.
Design and availability
The Gentle Monster edition of Samsung Intelligent Eyewear will have a thin black frame with a straight upper rim and lightly rounded lower edges. Talking about the Warby Parker edition, it will have a slightly raised brow line with a brown frame. Till now Samsung has introduced these glasses. No information has been shared regarding their launch and price. It is believed that this information will be revealed in the coming days.
