Senior sports journalist Vimal Kumar, in one of his reports, described what he witnessed during Rohit Sharma’s practice before the match. He told his report that, “When the team bus reached Lord’s, players like Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah were missing, but the fans’ gaze stopped when hitman Rohit Sharma got down from the bus.”
