Rajasthan wants to be banned again? Manager caught using mobile in dugout; BCCI took action

The problems of Rajasthan Royals manager Romi Bhinder are increasing. On April 10, Romi was seen using his mobile while sitting in the dugout during the match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore played in Guwahati. His video became quite viral on social media. Now the Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has issued a notice in this matter and sought reply from Romi Bhinder.

According to Cricbuzz, BCCI has issued a show cause notice to Romi Bhinder for using mobile in the IPL 2026 match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Answer sought within 48 hours

Along with this, it was told that the Anti Corruption and Security Unit of BCCI has sought a reply from the Rajasthan manager within 48 hours. Now it will be interesting to see what action is taken in this matter and what response is given by Romi Bhinder.

Mobile use banned during matches

According to the rules, team and sports staff members cannot use mobile phones during the match. Everyone has to deposit their electronic devices before the match. The purpose of depositing all electronic devices including mobiles is to prevent communication with any outsider during the match.

In the viral video, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was seen sitting next to Romi Bhinder. Vaibhav was also watching something on his mobile. Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi had also raised questions on this video.

Rajasthan got victory

In the match, Rajasthan defeated Bengaluru by 6 wickets and won its fourth consecutive win in the season. The team will play the next i.e. fifth league match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 13 April. Now it will be interesting to see how the Rajasthan team performs in the fifth match against Hyderabad.
