There is good news for those students who are dreaming of taking admission for higher studies. Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi has intensified preparations for the admission process for the academic session 2026-27. The process for admission in the university will start in the first week of May.
The online portal for admission to Post Graduation (PG) courses of the university will be opened in the first week of May. Students will be able to apply sitting at home. Whereas, admission to Under Graduation (UG) course will be done through CUET-UG. As soon as the CUET result comes, the application process will be started immediately.
Changes have been made in many courses this year. B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics Earlier it was in the form of BA, now it has been included in the science stream, so that it becomes easier to study further. Apart from this, BA Visual Arts for those making a career in the field of art. Courses like MA Creative Writing are being started for students related to writing, media and content. Not only this, MA Performing Arts is for those interested in theatre, music and stage arts. A special course has been started for careers related to museums and heritage.

Big opportunity for One Year Masters
This time, one year masters program has also been started under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students who have completed four years of graduation will now be able to do Masters in just one year. This facility will be available in subjects like Psychology, English, Hindi, Economics, Sociology, History and Political Science. This will save time and students will be able to move towards their career quickly.

Apply digitally
The university has made the admission process completely digital. Students will be able to apply for different courses from the same portal. The application fee has also been kept balanced, and special relaxation will be given to reserved category students. With this, more and more students will get access to higher education.
Scholarship facility also
In the new PG course, special attention will be given to research, project, fieldwork and internship. The university is working closely with many institutions so that students can get real work experience. This will increase job opportunities after studies. There is a provision of scholarship and fee relaxation for economically weaker students. Assistance will also be given to SC, ST and OBC category students.
