New Delhi. At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, this 24-year-old fast bowler from Vidarbha, Prafulla Hinge, did something which had never happened in the 19-year history of IPL. Praful created a stir in his debut match against Rajasthan Royals while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Prafulla, who came with the first over of the innings, took three wickets. With this, Prafulla has become the first bowler in IPL history to take 3 wickets in the very first over of the innings. He broke the back of Rajasthan by dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Luan-Dre Pretorius in his very first over.
15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who could not be stopped by legends like Jasprit Bumrah and Josh Hazlewood, was dismissed by Prafulla on his very first ball. Prafulla bowled a short pitched ball (bouncer). Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not sense the speed of the ball. His bat hit the upper edge and the ball went high in the air, which was caught easily by wicketkeeper Salil Arora. This was the first time in Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s short but famous IPL career that he was out on his very first ball. After the match, Prafull said a big thing about taking the wicket of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Prafulla Hinge was chosen ‘Player of the Match’ for his excellent bowling. He broke the back of Rajasthan’s batting within the powerplay itself. After the match, this young pacer revealed an interesting secret. He told that getting Vaibhav Suryavanshi out on a bouncer was not a coincidence but a well-thought-out planning. Prafulla said in a conversation with Murali Karthik, ‘I enjoyed taking the wicket of Vaibhav Suryavanshi the most, because he was in amazing form. I had already told 2-3 people that I will bowl them a bouncer on the very first ball and get them out. I had only one goal – to send him to the pavilion on the very first ball.
