Actually, Internet load shedding is a situation when there is power cut without any prior notice for a long time and due to this, mobile network and internet services are disrupted. Frequent power cuts in Pakistan have started affecting the mobile towers considered to be the backbone of the telecom network. When the power goes off, these towers shut down and people’s connections are cut off.

This problem has now taken a serious form. According to media reports, electricity shortage has already been a big challenge in Pakistan but now it is affecting communication services as well. Millions of mobile users are facing problems in making calls and accessing the internet. The situation is especially worse in rural areas, where the network disappears completely.
