Even before the start of IPL 2026, an interesting clash was seen between two young captains in which Sunrisers captain Ishan Kishan and Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill were seen enjoying the performance of each other's team. Both of them taunted each other by asking when was the last time they played the final and what is the meaning of only one star on their T-shirt. Shubman Gill even said that he does not even want to talk to the half captain.
