A new report has revealed that about 89 percent people are buying phones after seeing AI features. This means that now AI features are attracting customers more than battery and other things. The report shows that now people are taking experience-based decisions instead of specification-based upgrades. This is the reason why mobile companies have started providing more than one AI feature in their smartphones.

According to the report of Flipkart and Counterpoint Research, Artificial Intelligence has now become a core factor in the choice of smartphone. About 89 percent people are taking the decision to buy the phone after seeing the AI features. AI is slowly gaining an important place in our lives and now it is being used in everything from voice assistance to content creation and personalization. The special thing is that even in the segment of phones priced at Rs 15,000-20,000, people are paying full attention to AI features. Instead of premium features, people have started liking AI features.

The report also revealed that 64 percent of users like colorful devices. If people get a phone with the color and material of their choice, then they are ready to pay up to 5 percent extra money for it. This trend has been seen especially among Gen Z, women and customers from Tier-2 cities.
