When these modules are heated by placing them in a folding collector, the water stored in them comes out. After this this water can be collected and used for drinking.

During the tests, this jacket produced about 400 to 900 ml of water per day depending on the humidity of the environment. This quantity is equal to about one and a half to four cups of water.
Scientists say that this performance is much better than many existing technologies. When used on a large scale, its capacity was found to be three to ten times more than the old system.

The same research team has also developed a different atmospheric water storage system device which has performed well in both dry and humid climates. In tests conducted in the desert region of New Mexico and the humid environment of Texas, this device collected about 1.3 liters of clean water per day. According to researchers, this is one of the most impressive water storage capacities ever discovered.
