Fortune Most Powerful Women Event Nita Ambani: Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani is once again in the news for her royal style. At the recently organized Fortune Most Powerful Women event, she wore such a Banarasi saree which attracted everyone’s attention. This special saree of hers was inspired by the famous Gulab Holi of Varanasi and it took two months to prepare it. With traditional workmanship and stunning design, this saree perfectly showcases the beauty of Indian handicrafts.
Pink Tanchoi Banarasi Silk Saree
On this occasion, Nita Ambani wore Swadesh’s blush pink colored Tanchoi Banarasi silk saree. The design of this saree is inspired by the famous Rose Holi of Varanasi, where there is rain of rose petals along with colors. This light pink colored saree looked very attractive and the beauty of traditional Banarasi weaving was clearly visible in it.

Fine floral mesh all over
Fine floral net work was done all over the saree, which was decorated with beautiful floral buttons in ivory and antique gold colors. The specialty of Tanchoi weaving is its fine workmanship and almost identical finish on both sides, which makes it very special. This is the reason why a wonderful combination of traditional craft and royal style was seen in this saree.
What is its special thing?
The most special thing about this saree is its workmanship. It was prepared by hand by master weavers Aarushi Lohia and Krishna Lohia of Banaras. It took about two months to complete this magnificent saree. This is not just a garment, but a beautiful example of the age-old weaving art of Banaras and the hard work of the artisans. Nita Ambani wore a matching blush pink colored elbow sleeves blouse with this beautiful saree, which had a classic square neckline. The simple yet elegant blouse further accentuated the intricate workmanship of the saree.
To give a royal touch to her look, she chose diamond jewellery. Floral designed diamond stud earrings, heart shaped diamond pendant, tennis bracelet, statement ring and luxury watch added charm to her entire look. The choice of jewelery was such that it enhanced the beauty of the saree, but did not overpower it.
Soft and natural glam look
Talking about makeup, Nita Ambani adopted a soft and natural glam look. Light base, eyeliner, mascara, pink lipstick and light blush were enhancing her face. A small red bindi on her forehead and fresh flowers in a low bun made by taking out the maang from the middle gave a traditional and royal touch to her entire look.
