Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam finally won his first T20 trophy. In the final of Pakistan Super League, Peshawar Zalmi won the title by defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets. This is the second time the team has won this trophy. Babar took this trophy from the hands of Mohsin Naqvi.

New Delhi. Babar Azam’s team won the Pakistan Super League and he finally got his biggest success as a captain. The satisfaction of winning the trophy was clearly visible on his face. Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the PSL 11 final played at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday. PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, who was embroiled in controversies regarding the trophy, handed the trophy to Babar Azam.
Zalmi’s team has won the Pakistan Super League title for the second time. He won the trophy for the first time since 2017. Babar Azam has won the PSL twice before, but this was his first trophy as captain. That’s why this year’s tournament has become so special for them. Aaron Hardy played an important role in the final with both ball and bat. He took 4 wickets for 27 runs and restricted Hyderabad team to 129 runs in 18 overs. Saim Ayub played a fighting inning of 54 runs, but Hyderabad’s hopes were weakened due to continuous fall of wickets.
