DC VS SRH: Abhishek Sharma, who was the hero of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s big win with his unbeaten 135-run innings against Delhi Capitals, said here on Tuesday that the ball was coming a little slow on the pitch due to which the team had to change its plan in the powerplay.
After scoring 242 runs for two wickets, Sunrisers restricted Delhi Capitals to 195 runs for nine wickets. Abhishek hit 10 fours and as many sixes in his unbeaten innings of 68 balls.

‘Player of the match’ Abhishek said in the awards ceremony after the match, ‘The way we started, we had a plan for it. We wanted to use the powerplay, but the wicket was a bit slow, so we had to change our strategy.

Praising the atmosphere of the team, he said, ‘The atmosphere we have got in Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2024 has been a ‘game changer’ for us. I always wanted to play like this, I want to play like this for Punjab also. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad always feels like this.
When asked about his celebration after his century, he said, ‘I have been doing this ‘L Celebration’ for a long time, it is just for the love that we get from the stadium.’
