Like other image generators, it can also generate photos with the help of AI, but there is one feature in it, due to which privacy concerns have increased. What’s more, this feature is on by default. If you do not want to use it then you will have to turn it off from your end. Let us know which feature of Meta Muse Image is creating hue and cry.

There is an uproar over this feature

Muse Image has a feature that gives users the option to edit other users’ Instagram images. For this, the front user just needs to tag. After this, this feature will take the picture and create a new AI image from it. For this there is no need to take the consent of the front user. For this reason it is being said to disturb privacy. Meta has also written in its policy that in this feature people will be able to generate AI content from your Instagram content and you will not even be notified for this.

What is the danger of this feature?

If your Instagram account is public then any unknown person can generate AI photo from your photo using Muse Image. As we told earlier that this feature is on by default. According to Meta’s policy, if someone is making a photo using your image, then you will not even know about it. A similar warning has been given on the help page of Instagram also.

If you are concerned about privacy then do this

If you are concerned about your privacy, you can opt-out of this process. For this, open the Instagram app and go to the profile and tap on the three-line menu. After this scroll down to the option of sharing and reuse. Here you will see the option of “Allow people to use your content on Instagram and with AI features on Meta”. Toggle off both the posts and reels visible in front of it. With its help you can prevent your content from being used for image generation.
