How does KVS lottery work?

After the registration is closed, all the applications are divided into different categories like RTE, service priority, reserved category etc. Admission in classes 2 and above is done offline on the basis of vacant seats. Whereas admission to class 11 will start after the declaration of class 10th results of CBSE Board.

What should parents do after lottery?

Parents of children whose names appear in the list will have to go to the school within the stipulated time and get the documents verified. In this, proof of age, residence proof, service certificate (if applicable), caste certificate (for reserved category) and income certificate for RTE category will have to be given. If this process is not completed within the stipulated time, the seat will be given to the child on the waiting list.
