Krunal Pandya has become only the third Indian to do so in IPL, who has completed 1000 runs in batting along with a century of wickets in bowling. In the match against Lucknow, Krunal took 2 wickets for 38 runs in 4 overs of bowling. He opened his wicket account by dismissing Mitchell Marsh on the fifth ball of the 10th over of LSG’s innings and then dismissed Abdul Samad on zero on the second ball of the 12th over. As soon as Samad was dismissed, his 100 wickets in IPL were completed. However, Krunal did not bat in RCB’s innings.
Krunal has more than 1700 runs in his name in batting.
Krunal Pandya is an excellent batting all-rounder. Along with bowling, he has also done wonders many times with his batting in the middle order. This is the reason why he has scored 1757 runs in 119 innings so far in IPL. Due to this, he has become the third Indian player after Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel to complete the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in IPL.
