New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad's wicketkeeper batsman Ishan made a bang in the Indian Premier League 2026. In the first match of the season, Ishaan played a stormy inning of 80 runs in 38 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Before getting out, Ishaan had single-handedly taken the lead against the RCB bowlers at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Ishaan especially lashed out at Krunal Pandya and along with Heinrich Klaasen hit 21 wickets in the 13th over of the innings. Ishaan and Klaasen together took three sixes and three singles in Krunal's over. During this time, the six hit by Ishaan on the last ball of the innings was very visible. Because Krunal had bowled that ball from outside the popping crease.

Sunrisers Hyderabad team scored 201 runs

In the first match of IPL 2026 against RCB, Sunrisers team was invited to bat first after losing the toss. Sunrisers, who came to bat first, did not have a good start.
