Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) head coach Abhishek Nair, while giving a message before the team's first practice session at Eden Gardens, said that the skill is there, the talent has been gathered and now the time has come for them to win their fourth title. Three-time IPL winners KKR will start their 2026 season against five-time champions Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29.
In a video posted by KKR Night Club, Nair said, “Before the entire team arrives, I just want to give a message to all of you. We have prepared a lot, we have worked on our skills in the last few months. We have had a lot of discussions. We have talked a lot. For me, the thing that matters every year is how we prepare our mind. The skill is there, it is not going to change in the next 10 days. But the thing that matters is that That's our mentality that changes. Therefore, every moment spent on this field, with each other, with the coaches, has only one purpose.”
