This means that for an AC that is available in India for a maximum of Rs 50,000, one may have to pay almost 4 times more in France.

WHO says that Europe remains the fastest warming continent in the world and the temperature here is increasing at twice the rate of the global average. Due to the continuously increasing heat, the demand for AC is also increasing here. The International Energy Agency estimates that the demand for air conditioning in Europe will double by 2050.
