Sanju Samson Jasprit Bumrah: Sanju Samson and Jasprit Bumrah have been nominated for the ICC March Player Award. Conor Esterhuizen of South Africa is also included in this race.

Dubai: India’s opening batsman Sanju Samson and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah were nominated for the ICC March Player of the Month on Monday. South African batsman Conor Esterhuizen has also been nominated after his impressive performance in the first T20 series against New Zealand.
Sanju, who was the ‘Player of the Tournament’ by performing brilliantly in the last few matches of the T20 World Cup, has got a place in the nomination along with Bumrah. Bumrah was the player of the match in the final match.
Samson was out of the initial matches but scored an unbeaten 97 in the quarterfinal-like match against West Indies and after the semi-final against England in Mumbai, scored 89 runs in the final against New Zealand. Bumrah took four wickets for 15 runs in four overs in the final.
