The wait of students appearing for class 12th examination from Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) is expected to end on May 4. If everything goes well then the result of Senior Secondary (12th) class will be released on May 4 at 11 am. Candidates will be able to check their results through online mode on the official website of the board hpbose.org. For this, they will have to submit their roll number in the board’s website, after which they will be able to download the digital copy of the mark sheet.
Result will be announced after the conference
According to the information, the result will be announced during a press conference at the board headquarters in Dharamshala. During this, the board officials will share the passing percentage, number of students appeared in the examination, data of successful candidates and list of toppers. It is noteworthy that this year the 12th examinations of Himachal Pradesh Board were held from March 3 to April 1, 2026. Since the completion of the examination, students have been eagerly waiting for their results.
How was the result last year?
Last year i.e. in 2025, the overall result of Himachal Board 12th board exam was recorded at 83.16%, in which girls were dominant. This year, a total of 81411 students had registered for Himachal Pradesh Board 12th examinations. The board exam was conducted from March 3 to April 1, 2026. Now these students and their parents are waiting for the release of the result, which will end tomorrow.
How many marks are required to pass?
To pass Himachal Board 12th examination, students are required to score at least 33% marks in every subject. This means that if both theory and practical combined in a subject get 33% or more marks then the student will be considered passed in that subject.
