OpenAI will launch AI-powered device
Mark Gurman has told in his report that OpenAI is making a portable speaker, which will not have a display. You will be able to use this device anywhere in your house. Even though it will be a speaker, it will work as a more personal companion for you than the iPhone. In this, the smart version of ChatGPT’s voice mode will be integrated, with the help of which it will be able to talk to you like your friend. As you use it, it will collect information about you and then become proactive and start completing your tasks.

According to the report, this device will be equipped with cameras and sensors. With their help it will be able to understand its surrounding environment better. Later, a screen can also be added to it. OpenAI is going to make its debut in the hardware segment with this device and will also launch many more devices in the next few years. Gurman says that this speaker will be different from smartphones and other such devices.
When will OpneAI’s smart speaker be launched?
If everything remains as per expectations then the company can show its glimpse this year itself. However, the launch will have to wait till next year. With the help of this device, OpenAI wants to create the next iPhone movement. OpenAI can also bring a phone with AI Agent
Another report in April claimed that OpenAI is also working on a smartphone, which will run on AI agents. There will be no need for apps in this. This AI agent phone will focus on completing the users’ tasks instead of switching different apps. That means, instead of opening a separate app for every task, this phone will understand what you have to do and it will complete that task automatically.
