At an event, ‘Ramayana’ director Nitish Tiwari has revealed the ending of its Part 1.
How will the first part of ‘Ramayana’ end?
The team of ‘Ramayan’ recently attended San Diego Comic-Con, where they started the promotion of the film with a panel discussion and some select interviews. In a conversation with IGN, director Nitish Tiwari explained the decision to release the film in two parts. He said, “Ramayana is a straightforward story, and where we end the first part, you can call it a suspenseful twist (cliffhanger), it is something that will make people excited to watch the second part as soon as they leave the theatre.”
Why are two parts of ‘Ramayana’ necessary?
He further explained why Ramayana is being released in two parts. Nitish said, “It’s just that. It’s a story that requires two parts. It can’t be told in one part, and we decided that would probably be the best point to end the first part, and leave the rest of the story for the second part.”

What’s new in the film?
During the interview, the director also told what is new in the film. Nitish Tiwari said, “Basically, it is about relationships and the emotions associated with them. That is exactly what we have tried to show. At the same time, we have made it in a very modern and great way. That is what makes it very exciting. The same story, which many people might have heard and seen before, will be presented in a completely new way. It will be a completely new experience in terms of the way it is made.”
‘Ramayana’ trailer release date was postponed
The ‘Ramayana’ team’s presence at San Diego Comic-Con was to conclude with the global launch of its trailer on Friday. However, producer Namit Malhotra announced that it has been postponed as the film has received a deal with Sony for international distribution. He wrote on social media, “Today is a very special moment for our ‘Ramayana’. With our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, my dream of taking ‘Ramayana’ to the world has now come true. Keeping these things in mind, we will now launch our trailer globally at a later date.”
Let us tell you that the first part of ‘Ramayana’ will be released before Diwali weekend this year. The second part will be released before Diwali of 2027.
