Oil massage- In this you will need 2 to 3 spoons of coconut, almond or olive oil. You have to heat them, although it is important to ensure that they remain lukewarm. After this, you have to massage the scalp with the uppermost part of your fingers for 10 to 15 minutes. While massaging, keep one thing in mind that it has to be done in circular motion. Its advantage is that blood circulation remains good and you will feel relaxed.

Steaming- Steaming comes second. To do this, first of all you have to put a towel in hot water and then squeeze it well. After this, keep this towel wrapped around your head for 15 minutes. This helps in opening the pores and allowing oil to reach the roots.

Hair wash- After two steps, now comes the time to wash hair. In this you have to use mild or sulphate-free shampoo and wash the hair thoroughly, so that the oil is completely removed. The most important thing to note in this is that instead of hot water you have to use lukewarm or normal water.

Homemade hair mask- You have many options in this. For example, you can make a paste by mixing 1 ripe banana, 2 spoons of honey and 1 spoon of curd. Another option is that you can mix 1 spoon aloe vera gel and 1 spoon curd in a conditioner sachet worth Rs 10 and then apply it on the head and leave it for 30 to 45 minutes. After this, it should be cleaned by washing with plain water.

Conditioning or Serum- The last phase is that of conditioning or serum. In this, apply aloe vera gel or leave-in conditioner on lightly wet hair, this will keep the hair moist for a long time.
