MPPSC Main Exam 2025 Dates: Big news has come for thousands of candidates waiting for the State Service Main Examination 2025 to be conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. After the interim stay on the examination was lifted by the Jabalpur High Court, the Commission has announced the new dates for the main examination. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the State Service Main Examination will be conducted between August 17 and August 22, 2025.
As soon as the dates of the mains exam were announced, the candidates who were waiting for the exam for a long time heaved a sigh of relief. In fact, after the release of the preliminary examination results in March 2025, some candidates had approached the High Court regarding cutoff and reservation related issues. His allegation was that the Commission did not release category wise cut offs and meritorious candidates from the reserved category were not selected on unreserved posts. During the hearing of this case, an interim stay was imposed on the main examination, due to which there was confusion among the candidates.
Now Jabalpur High Court has removed the interim stay on the examination. After this, the Commission released the schedule of Mains Exam without any delay. According to officials, the online application process for the main examination will start from June 25 and will continue till July 15.

In which districts the exam will be held
Admit cards for the main examination will be made available on the website of the Commission from August 10. Examination centers have been set up in 12 districts of the state for the examination. These include Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Ratlam, Satna, Sagar, Shahdol, Barwani, Ujjain and Balaghat. According to the examination schedule, four papers of General Studies will be held from 17th to 20th August.

Talking about the application fee, native residents of Madhya Pradesh will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 400, whereas for candidates from other states this fee has been fixed at Rs 800.
