Sunrisers Hyderabad has suffered a big blow, because the team’s fast bowler Brydon Carse is out of IPL 2026 (Brydon Carse Ruled Out). Fast bowler Brayden Carse, who comes from England, had not played a single match in IPL 2026 till now, but due to injury he had to be out of the entire tournament. SRH team has announced Sri Lankan Dilshan Madushanka as his replacement.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s fast bowling department is already struggling in the absence of Pat Cummins. However, in the match against Rajasthan Royals, Prafulla Hinge and Saqib Hussain performed miraculously and took 8 wickets together. But the team is definitely lacking experience in the fast bowling department.
Dilshan Madushanka will get Rs 75 lakh on joining SRH team. Let us remind you that Brayden Kars was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad, but before the first match of the tournament against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kars got injured in his right hand while bowling in the nets.
Talking about 25 year old Madushanka, he has debuted for Sri Lanka in all three formats. Till now he has played one Test, 28 ODI and 19 T20 matches for Sri Lanka.
The team’s regular captain Pat Cummins is recovering from injury. On the other hand, Jaydev Unadkat and Harshal Patel have not been very effective. Meanwhile, the exclusion of Brayden Kars is a big blow for the Hyderabad team. Praful Hinge and Saqib Hussain have recently made their debut and nothing can be said about how effective they will be on these occasions. Even if both of them took 8 wickets together against Rajasthan Royals.
